Either way works. Connect your own Twilio account and you pay the carrier directly at cost, with no markup from us. Or send from our number: each plan includes an allowance of texts, and anything beyond it comes out of a prepaid balance at the per-message rate shown on the pricing page. Nothing is charged until you pass your allowance, and texts stop rather than running up a bill you didn’t agree to.
Yes, at any time. Limits apply going forward — we never delete data you already have if you move down a tier.
Texts beyond your plan’s included allowance come out of a prepaid balance you top up by card, at the per-message rate shown for your plan. Long messages are split into 160-character segments by the carriers and each segment is charged. When the balance runs out, texts stop until you add more — email reminders keep going. Deposits are non-refundable and don’t expire.
