Acceptable Use Policy

NotifyConnection sends messages to real people on your behalf. This policy keeps the platform trustworthy for everyone. It applies to all accounts and forms part of our Terms of Use.

Consent is required

Only add contacts who have a genuine relationship with your organization and a reasonable expectation of receiving appointment communications from you. Never upload purchased, scraped, or rented contact lists.

Prohibited uses

• Unsolicited bulk messaging, marketing blasts, or spam of any kind.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or messages intended to intimidate a recipient.
• Phishing, impersonating another person or organization, or misrepresenting who is sending a message.
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content, including fake appointments used as a pretext.
• Distributing malware, or links intended to compromise a recipient's device or accounts.
• Content that is unlawful where the sender or recipient is located.
• Attempting to bypass rate limits, guess confirmation tokens, or access another organization's data.
• Reselling or providing access to the Service in a way that circumvents these rules.

Sensitive information

Do not include payment card numbers, government identifiers, or detailed medical information in message templates or appointment notes. If your use involves health information subject to HIPAA or similar laws, you are responsible for ensuring your configuration meets those requirements.

Honoring opt-outs

If a recipient asks to stop receiving messages, remove or disable that contact promptly. SMS recipients who reply with standard stop keywords are unsubscribed by the carrier or gateway, and you must not attempt to re-add them without fresh consent.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, where warranted, throttle sending, suspend an account, or terminate access. Serious abuse may be reported to the relevant authorities or to the upstream delivery providers.
